Sands has also appeared in various television series and miniseries, such as “The Sun Also Rises” (1984), “Merlin” (1998), and “24” (2006). In addition to his screen work, he has performed on stage, including roles in plays by William Shakespeare and Harold Pinter.

It has been established that the body parts discovered in Californian mountains belong to British actor Julian Sands, who vanished while out hiking in January.
According to authorities, the remains were discovered by walkers on Saturday and have already been officially identified.
The 65-year-old Sands was most known for his parts in the TV dramas 24 and Smallville as well as the Oscar-winning picture A Room With A View.
He also starred opposite Daniel Craig in 2011’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, one of his previous acting roles.
